What to say, I never had the chance to meet him in person but it was a hoot to see what had to say, this will be missed and it truly is sad to see him go. My God be with him and his family now.
Damn, I can't really say much.... still in shock....
Well Mark, thanks for all the laughs, and for keeping us all here going. May we find comfort in knowing that God needed you to report in, Marine. I look forward to meeting you one day, catching a glimpse of light from your highly polished buttons, the shine of your spit-shined shoes, and seeing you standing tall in your Dress Blues guarding Heaven's streets of Gold. We'll tip back a cold one as we swap sea stories.
This morning Mark was taking off support. He had 8 people in the room with him. His sister was rubbing his head, his two lady friends were on opposite sides of him holding his hands. He never gasped or anything. It took 7 minutes....
His daughter and son are on the road right now, in Marks truck... They are both in tears right now reading this thread ( from the fed exed copy that was sent to him). They are really touched by you guys..
They have Marks computer, they said when they turn it on it goes right to this site. They will be having a memorial, and they will be posting the info..

Thats all I have......sorry
Why the apology?
You have gone so far above the call of duty on this, I don't know where to begin to thank you for all you did for both Mark, his family and the FTE family.
Thank you Pat. Reps left even though I know that you don't want them. It really was above and beyond what a lot of people in the world would have done. It really is like a big family on here, just wish I had more time to participate. I have been silently following along and praying for Mark. I sure will miss his posts.

Thanks for sharing the news Pat. We know he was proud of his family, but we also know he took pride in the work he did. This seems like a fitting place to share some of his photo's once again of some of the work he enjoyed.
Its really hard to keep from tearing up right now. We will miss you old timer. Although I dont post much, you would be surprised how much I read, followed and learned from these older guys.
He really did great work thats for sure. These pictures are the first time I PM-ed Mark, telling him how beautiful it was. He will be missed...

Pat, thank you so much for everything you have done. From the very first post about him being in the hospital till the end. I really appreciate the time you have spent keeping everyone informed and update. And to his family when they read this,Mark was very well loved and will be missed so bad here on FTE.
