Mark, my mom had open heart surgery a few years ago and she said her hand was the same way. Nerve damage and all. It took her about 6 weeks she said to get back to where she could really use it, shes not as tough as you though so Im sure you will be back to normal in no time.

the man's got a hole in his chest large enough to stick your head in and he's worried about the feeling in his hand....lol now that's a trooper!!!!!! never give up, i'm sure it will heal.
last year a school bus ran over my mom's car and she had to be cut out, they said she'd never walk again and probably lose her arm, a year later she is walking great and still has her arm, never give up man.

Has anyone else here had any experience with spending a solid month in bed and then find out your legs don't work? How long to recover? One member told me it took him 3 months. Too long!!!

The closest I've come to that Mark was when I collapsed my lung, bruised my ribs & sternum, and got a concussion all at the same time. I was down for about 3 weeks with that one......but I was only like 27 yrs old at the time, so I recovered quickly. You are one tough SOB bro!
