Mark.....I know you finally got that card while in the hospital, but I'm wondering if you knew about us asking about you sooner then that? You had a couple hundred people concerned for ya, that were pretty much in the dark. You were almost under a lockdown buddy.......it was pretty frustrating for us not knowing for so long! Pat & Barry kept at it though.....and we kept finding out little tid bits of info about you. I know you're still in alot of pain, but you gotta be thanking your lucky stars to be outta that damn hospital! We're all still pulling for a great recovery!
So far Mark I am still struggling to breathe. May get better I am told.
Fingers crossed and more than a few prayers said Mark. I know what you're going through with the breathing. After I got shot through the right lung it took forever to not feel like someone had a pillow over my face.
Believe it or not, in time, the diminished capacity just feels normal. I do stuff slower. I used to be able to drink 6 beers an hr.....now I do 4.........
Be well Sir.....lots of people thinking of ya!
How you doing Mark.. I will type this question, instead of calling.. why you might ask.. Therapeutic reasons.. give you reason to use that left hand.. even if it is only one finger, and it is pointed at my avatar.. Good te see you online my friend.. now get some sleep.. cant be good for you typing away at 1:00 and then again 8:00???

Hey Mark, Glad to see you back. As stated earlier, I guess they figured you would be less likely to get an infection at home than at the hospital. Hospitals are full of infections. Nothing they can really do about it I guess. Get plenty of rest and get well. Take care, John

I'm taking 1 a day of some kind of steroid that makes sleep nearly impossible. Only had 7 of them and am down to 2. It's supposed to build lung strength. Even Ambien CR will not counteract it.

Some of the steriod types that they give you for infections work for what they want but do tend to keep you awake. I had to take Pregnazone (I'm sure that's not spelled right) and I couldn't sleep for chit.
Good to see you online buddy. Hang in there, you're over the worst part so you might as well finish the ride. PM me your address and if I can get a break from my current obligations, I'll stop by and see you if your up to it.
