Good morning! Looks like I better get some breakfast and go get those bags installed while its half decent out. My help backed out on me this morning...guess its a good thing. We wouldnt do nothing but BS anyways. He was more along the lines someone to hand me tools haha

I think he would rather go run selective on his day off and make some money pullin people over 2 houses down from his house. The day one of my cop friends pulls me over is the day Ill probably go to jail!

Well I have an interview in a few hours...assistant teaching position.
I called and talked to an academic advisor yesterday, and had decided to enter their Masters program, to ultimately attain a Masters of Arts in Teaching.
About two minutes after I get off the phone with the advisor, I get another phone call. It was a guy calling me in for an interview, for a job that I applied for that I thought there was NO WAY I'd EVER get hired for. Director of Development (Marketing) for a nearby municipality. It was one of those jobs you apply for, that you are sure you would never get, but you apply for it anyway just to see what will happen. Well, yeah, THAT job called me in for an interview next Thursday.
I am nervous, and confused. I obviously can't take a job like that AND do school. I have a lot to figure out. At least I have a week before that interview.

Aren't cop friends supposed to help you stay OUT of jail?

Lisa, I know where I graduated from offeres a "Fast track MBA" program thats aimed toward the working class. They dont meet until like 7pm. Im sure they offer some regular night classes for what you need. Check into it, knocking out 1 or 2 a semester is always helpful toward youre certificate. I took at least one 7-940pm class every semester. I loved them!
I think Im going back to get a certificate in Urban Revitalization soon!

Yeah, this Masters program is a lot like that. The classes are 100% online. I was going to do the certificate route, but the Masters program is only a few extra credit, and it would be stupid not to do it. I need 4 classes under my belt and then I can start my teaching internship. Its a year of teaching, and is a paid position. While I am doing the internship, I complete a few more classes and then I am recommended for teaching licensure. Its a program that was designed for people who already have a Bachelor's degree and don't have the time/resources to go through a more traditional route. I might take actual classes for a specialization, depending on what I decide to do. Based on what I have on my transcript for my B.A., I already qualify for Journalism and History, and I don't have far to go for Art and English.
To get into the school though, I have to pass the Praxis and pass a pretty extensive background check. I'm not worried about the background check.
