So I have arrived here at my place in New Mexico. I miss the wife & kid TERRIBLY already and I just left today lol. My place was in decent shape considering nobody has been in it in a YEAR, other then just popping my head in on road trips checking for leaks. The power was on, the gas was on, the furnace worked (sorta) had to replace the thermostat and a relay on the blower motor. What I spent $30 bucks on, would've cost $150 AT LEAST in a service call.
Now.....my problem area. WATER! My place has a crawl space underneath, with heat tape around all the pipes. The water has been off since last January. It is frozen! The power has been on since yesterday, and it hasn't even budged the ice in the lines.....it was frozen at the main valve at first, but that broke loose pretty easily. Now it's in my lines somewhere......first thing I will do in the morning is make sure my heat tape is working....after that it's time to break out the torches! Once I get water actually flowing I will light the hot water heater, until then.....I'll be showering at co-workers places lol

Got the gas leak fixed on the sled but when we took it for a test run it sputters, backfires and won't go over 40 mph. It should do 80! Any thoughts?
I will catch up in the morning. This is starting to depress me. Never had these issues after tearing into a motor!

sputters and backfires=timing right? sounds dumb but I was very careful once and still managed to crack a spark plug on my stang once, it had these symptoms. How about ohming the plug wires? any luck there? No cap/rotor so that wont help....gotta be timing related.. This is even starting to make me frustrated for you...

In my mind, the only reason a guy would break up with a beautiful girl is if she was 1) too high maintenance 2) she had, intelligence issues or 3) if she did something dishonest...

Dont ever worrying about offending me or any of my friends! Thats why I like all of my friends. Usually we are the ones that offend the majority of others and if you dont like us dont hang with us. I think thats why I like the FTE family so well!

Well, lets just say if you could get slapped thru a text...it wouldve happened to me like 25 minutes ago! Of course I was joking with her and you cant see emotions, facial expressions, or laughing thru a text so I got a mad text back from her.
If I typed how all my friends and I talk when we are together talkin/drinkin...I wouldve been kicked off a LONG time ago! You just have that mentality that no one else is around...good thing and a bad thing depending on the situation!

Sheldon, my buddy from Alberta is on the oil patch too! figures!!! ....his uncle owns the company, although I'm not sure which...He's a pipe layer...LMAO!!!!!!!!!! Us contractors sure arent known for our dirty mouths either.....It's funny, we arent supposed to be out there working and cat calling, but I've been yelled at by chicks before!!!!!!!!!! Whats the double standard here? I'm offended......
