Kind of like us 7.3 folks....

1%er = If you read the papers or listen to the news, the media and law enforcement agents have redefined the term "1%er". The term was first used in the 60’s to describe some of the people that attended the motorcycle events back then. The AMA (American Motorcycle Association) stated that 99% of the people at their events were god fearing and family oriented. The other 1% were hard riding, hard partying, non mainstream type people. Thus the term 1%er was born. Some of the early bikers embraced the term and decided to call themselves 1%ers. It did not mean that they were law breakers or low life individuals. They were simply men that rode their motorcycles seven days a week in all kinds of weather, liked to drink and raise a little cain. Sometime during the 80’s law enforcement changed the meaning of the 1%er to what they wanted it to represent. It didn’t matter that their meaning was incorrect, they just spoon fed it to the general public and the courts as they had so many other things.
Motorcycle Clubs are rich in history and tradition. One of those traditions is the wearing of a 1%er patch on our vests and referring to ourselves as a 1%er club. The 1%er definition as we see it is one that explains our commitment to Biking and Brotherhood. We ride our motorcycles every day rain or shine. We ride thousands of miles each year with our Brothers to attend parties, social events, funerals and just plain spending time together. We work, have families and do all the things that our neighbors do. In addition to that we belong to a Brotherhood that we are able to combine with our day to day lives. To say that 1%er’s are criminals or people of a lesser moral code than the rest of society is a tainted opinion.
Are you at home watching the history channel today Scott??

Well the interview went really well. I'm pretty sure I have the job if I want it. She wants me to sleep on it and call her tomorrow and let her know what I am thinking. Pretty cool interview. Very laid back, amazing person who runs the school.

lol. you guys are going to make me self conscious that the students will be looking at me in the wrong light. My target area is 4th or 5th grade, perhaps even Junior High depending on what specialization I decide to pursue. Boys that young don't look at women that way do they? Or am I just naive?

So I have lost 73 lbs...but I have remained steady for nearly 2 weeks...so band adjustment is necessary...hopefully attitude adjustment will come with it... right now when I get hungry, I eat...but sometimes you need to take a step back to move forward...
Wow, 73Lbs, good job man! I have, well, some experience with weight loss. In my experience, your body will slow down and plateau and as far as I understand, its you're metabolism coping with the lifestyle changes you've made.

I also know that lapband adjustments are a necessary evil as well. When they first put you on it, they couldn't allow you to experience such dramatic weight loss, as it would be harmful to your health. Now that you've lost some weight, they can safely restrict your calories so you experience additional loss. Am I right?

The REAL problem is...a lot of teachers these days are doing it for the wrong reasons. I am putting money ASIDE to get into teaching, all because I want to make a difference in the lives of children. I realize all this time I have been wasting my time doing things that don't matter.

The system also lacks a means to effectively deal with bad teachers, or those who are not adequately preparing their kids for life ahead. Most schools need every teacher they have, so they are not as willing to let ones go, even when they aren't cutting it.

Your naive. When I was that young, I hate thoughts that maybe werent quite appropriate for a 4th or 5h grader. Funny thing is those thoughts stuck with me ever since!

Sandi is fairly blessed up top too, and she comes home now and then and says that she caught some young fella trying to look down her shirt.

Shes used to it though, cause she gets that from me at home anyways haha.

Well, I got one bag on...
Dads knee was still bothering him today and I had to go babysit him while mom was at one of her antique shops. Needless to say I was in a bit a of a pickle considering I had the truck up on jackstands and its my only ride! I got back just in time to play around with the ONE side a few minutes before it got dark. Ill post a link in a few minutes to a video of it.

I was gonna say by junior high we had couples go at it on under the stairs and such. One of my 5th grade teachers lived in my bud Travis' neighborhood and I stayed over his house one night. We went walking around the hood and saw her and our PE teacher on the washing machine at her house...well she was on the washing machine...
