Part V
And thanks Mark. The more I think about it the more I'm pretty sure what direction I'll go.
If you don't mind posting it publicly, how much have you lost so far? How long are the Dr's saying before you get to your goal?
I have been getting better at going to the gym regularly, and the past 3 days I've been spot on with not eating anything bad. Fruit, veggies, lean meats. I feel like I've lost a few lbs already.
Who am I to talk, I just got back from the gym, after working out for 4 hours, *** would smell pretty good compared to me right now!
Sheldon, go wash your nasty ***. ewwwwwwwwww
Lisa, let us know how things to today.
Pat, I know I said this in Mark's thread but thank you so much for the updates on how he is going. We have a great family here in the 7.3 and I am very honored to be a part of it.
Mark, let us know if you hear back from the doctor.
Tristan, good luck with the airbags.
I m honored to know alot of ya from here too. Its amazing how good of buddies people can be with people they havent even met in person. And the mighty 7.3 brought us all together!
Kind of like us 7.3 folks....
1%er = If you read the papers or listen to the news, the media and law enforcement agents have redefined the term "1%er". The term was first used in the 60’s to describe some of the people that attended the motorcycle events back then. The AMA (American Motorcycle Association) stated that 99% of the people at their events were god fearing and family oriented. The other 1% were hard riding, hard partying, non mainstream type people. Thus the term 1%er was born. Some of the early bikers embraced the term and decided to call themselves 1%ers. It did not mean that they were law breakers or low life individuals. They were simply men that rode their motorcycles seven days a week in all kinds of weather, liked to drink and raise a little cain. Sometime during the 80’s law enforcement changed the meaning of the 1%er to what they wanted it to represent. It didn’t matter that their meaning was incorrect, they just spoon fed it to the general public and the courts as they had so many other things.
Motorcycle Clubs are rich in history and tradition. One of those traditions is the wearing of a 1%er patch on our vests and referring to ourselves as a 1%er club. The 1%er definition as we see it is one that explains our commitment to Biking and Brotherhood. We ride our motorcycles every day rain or shine. We ride thousands of miles each year with our Brothers to attend parties, social events, funerals and just plain spending time together. We work, have families and do all the things that our neighbors do. In addition to that we belong to a Brotherhood that we are able to combine with our day to day lives. To say that 1%er’s are criminals or people of a lesser moral code than the rest of society is a tainted opinion.

I have added it to my sig
nothing like raising "a little cain"

Well Lisa...When I saw the surgeon in July I weighed in at 428 lbs...when I saw my surgeon tuesday...I was 355...noone has really set a goal weight....although we talked about getting down to 200 lbs and and see how I feel then...my goal for 200 lbs is next christmas...
So I have lost 73 lbs...but I have remained steady for nearly 2 weeks...so band adjustment is necessary...hopefully attitude adjustment will come with it... right now when I get hungry, I eat...but sometimes you need to take a step back to move forward...
The therapist is gonna reccomend more PT tomorrow and my primary care physician said he will approve it.
I have 6 more weeks of short term disability to get back to work or they move me to long term disability.
I am waiting to hear from human resources about my short term disability check...they just fired the company that was handling our claims, so its done in house now.
and thats the rest of the story!
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
My 10th grade english teacher was in her 20s and a real doll and also real strict. We had a lot of fun with her but she took no crap from anyone
Thanx Guys!
Its partly my fault...I have put off having the band adjusted because I don't like the nurse that does the procedure. She talked bad about her coworkers while patting herself on the back...
I am just stubborn enough to tell her to go &%#*#^#@%!
of course, that would mean finding another nurse willing to do the procedure...
So I made the call and waiting for a call back...and biting my tongue...
Called the cable co about the new 'drop' and they are waiting for a city permit...10 days now...
ok...I suppose if I sit here noone will call back...so I am headed out to run some errands bbl!
