Nolan I hear ya loud and clear on the bbq'n! Its usually in the minus 27-40 range right now up here, and today they are forecasting plus 5C! T shirt weather today if the wind stays down!

Good morning all!! It's a nice 25 degrees this morning, sun is out and shining!!!!
I havent noticed anything really different about FTE yet, other than my password needed to be reset....Thats most likely my fault though. Everything working around here so far??

So who is working on their Super Bowl menus? Y'all know me, I started working on mine yesterday. Going to out do my menu from last year. Thinking we are going with a Cajun/Creole/Looziana themed menu. That, along with some cold Lone Star.

We will be doing the normal.. the sams club hot wings.. the gordan meatball and gravy.. My Wife's chees cake..these little hot dog things floating in Barbaque sauce.. and enough booze to kill the after taste of anything that was store bought..

I'm not that big a football fan but I do look forward to the game each year. It's a good time to hang with family and friends, and to enjoy some food and a good time. Every year I turn it on and lay out a good spread. Sort of like Thanksgiving but not anywhere near as formal, if that makes sense.

Thats why I like the bowl Scott, just like turkey day only not as formal...I dont watch football much, or any sport really. I'll play anything, but watching....not for me. I dont mind going to games, and love seeing the Mariners play (of course) but thats the rush of the crowd, the music, the atmosphere. Hard to get that with the tv.

I enjoy the friend thing as well. It is an absolute riot with all of them.. If I was closer to you Scott, The food would become more of an issue....Everytime you start typing away about something you are going to Barbaque, I end up running out to Lazybones smoke house for lunch. DETROITS BEST BBQ

So, the current damage list on the Passat includes this:

Nice, huh? Yeah, and niether of the driver's doors open from the outside....
Off to get good tires put on her now. I bought 4 studded snow tires with 95% tread for $100 and they are going on. Anyone interested in a 45mpg diesel Passat that's cosmetically ugly but mechanically sound, let me know.
