I have a D-LINK wireless router that came with the laptop.
I have a D-Link switch that interfaces with my Fiber Modem, but I've never messed with the D-Link router. I do have a D-Link PCMCIA WLAN card for one of my laptops, and both are super easy to tinker with, so I would think that the router is easy as well. First, change the default password, then write down the MAC addresses of all your wireless devices. Then, to back into the D-Link system and find the MAC filter tool and add your MACs to the list of allowed devices and turn it on. It's that easy...

So far so good. Just make sure you have the capacity to handle it. The one up above this one requires 120amps (3 40s) and theres no way this house could do that.
This one was the cheapest most decent one I could find on short notice. www.pexsupply.com , it was almost 100 dollars cheaper than Lowes. The space it frees up is amazing...
Im out ladies and gents...time for refreshments! HAve a great night!

Okay, let's see, all I can tell you is the laptop has built in wireless. I have nothing plugged into it all I did was pop the DLINK disk into it when I set it up. The rest I have no clue. lol.
