On dads farm there is a natural cave that has a spring running out of it the warter is ice cold in the summer. Its a good place to dip your feet and let the kids play on a hot day.
Good morning folks. Yes, those were deep fried crickets. For real. LMAO!! You haven't lived until you've eaten insects, be them deep fried or chocolate covered. Chocolate covered giant ants anyone??
I ate a chocolate covered cricket once on a dare. Tasted like chocolate, only crunchier.
I also ate a habaniero jalapeno hybrid pepper for $5 once.
I'll take the cricket over the pepper, anytime. LOL

It is very nice,It stinks we don't have a 4wheel right now cause you need one to get to it.hoping to have one by the end of this year for this reason the kids are big enough to go for rides and have some fun.
So, does that mean you're up to 8 inches now Nolan? 8inchlovin!

Morning Lisa!!
Definitely. ATV or? I think an ATV is a great investment. They are tons of fun and are basically little tractors so you can do just about anything with a good one.

Sport quads are more fun. Sorry.
I've got a Honda 300ex and it goes like a bat outta hell.
My buddy had a Honda Recon and it was nowhere near as fun as my 300 or the 400 he's got now. He likes my 300 more than his 400 though. It's got a much nicer ride to it.
I never did like sport quads as much, if I ever wanted to do that kind of riding I hopped on a bike.
Give me a nice 4x4 quad with a winch or two on it, let me hook my husquavarna, and my .22 on it, pack a small backpack with lunch and a few matches, and let me out in the forest for the day, and im a happy man!

Pete, I gotta say, there was a time when I agreed with you. Any time I could go as fast as possible, it was a good time. I've ridden a 400EX Honda and a Raptor, dunno what CC it was. Fast ****er.
Not to sound like one of those "old people" talking about the ways of the world, but a time will come when you'll get over that need to go as fast as possible at all times.
I prefer 4x4 quads these days for the same reasons Sheldon mentioned. To get deep into the woods, rough terrain, to see the animals and just enjoy the ride and the scenery.
You don't see much scenery when you're doing 80MPH...just trees wizzin by.
I am utilitarian and prefer vehicles that can "do it all". Hence the PSD. The types of places I like to ride, would get a sport quad stuck in seconds.

Sheldon, what do you need matches for if you're only out there for a day? LOL!

I know what you guys mean,I grew up on ATV's(3wheeler to start with) and have not had one for the last 5yrs. I hate when my buddys talk about going riding, man do I miss it.
Pete, you should ride a 450x,OMG...Not to good in the woods but hold on out in the open.
My wife wants a rhino or gator something like that to haul the kids around in.My prob is I see a mud puddle I'm on the gas and leter eat and sling some mud.She don't like that, but then she's pushing me out of the way and says my turn,LOL.
Matches, to start a fire to make lunch! No matter what time of the year it is, and no matter what ya bring along for food, lunch in the bush just isnt complete without a fire!
I still love going fast, but when I do, i think a bike is the way to do er!

That sound like a great place to hang out for the day.

Morning Lisa!!
I'm trying to sell my 4 wheeler. It's a Kawasaki Prarie 360 with a snow plow. I hate to sell it but $$ is running low right now.

Time to go hang the plow and scrape the driveway.
Give the little one some love from all of us here Mike.
You'd be pretty surprised where I could take a sport quad and still be able to get out.
Also I think my quad tops out at 40-50mph and that's PLENTY fast for me.
While it may be a little easier to get a sport quad stuck they're a lot easier to get un-stuck. I got myself stuck to the axles last time I went riding. Myself and my buddy were able to pick the machine straight up and slide it over out of the holes the tires made without too much struggle.
Plus I could afford a used sport quad. A Grizzly 700 would run me 9 grand.
I could have a sweet ExMark Lazer Z for 8 and it'd make me money instead of burn through it.
My quad cost me 2 grand when I bought it. Much better deal for me.
