I keep a small 6mp point and shoot in the truck, 3.2 mp camera phone and a Dslr with 3 lenses for the good stuff.
I prolly have 50 or 60 thousand pictures on my external drives...gonna take forever to sort them out!

Mark- dang thats awesome, but scary. I'll remember if we ever meet and I start getting stupid that there's a good chance it will be on film....LOL
Nolan- sorry about all the rain, looks like we sent it down. Nothing but clear and blue till Sunday here!!! Breaking out the jobsite radio today, which is the Milwaukee model, with Rockford Fosgate speakers!!! time to motivate the boys and have some fun!!!

I think I was at that party Jim....Another one of Julie's relatives asked me what I did and I said self employed, GC. Then without batting an eye said, "you dont actually do the work though right? you run the company and tell everyone else what to do?" I said hell no, I'm in the muck with my guys side by side, what kind of boss would I be if I didnt?"

I really respected my last manager. He worked late with us to help us turn apartments and even got on the roof to help with AC problems. The half gallons of liquor he gave me as a bribe to work Saturdays had no influence on me respecting him either...only cuz he would help me drink them!
Wish I could get out and work today. Stupid rain!

DAMN I HATE TERRORISTS!!!!!!!!
Hey everyone, I just thought I'd start my intro with that. My nerves are a little rattled right now LOL. Here's what happened... SO, I was checking my email in the team hooch, my laptop was dying so I went to our sleeping tent to get the power cord. Got back to the team hooch, and just after I plugged the cord in- BOOM!!!!- the whole damned tent shook. I ran outside to our parking area to see if i could see the plume of smoke from what I thought was an IED. I told my buddy to shine his light on the back of a humvee so i could climb up, 'cause it's darker than the inside of a bulls *** out here w/no moon. I jump on the roof, and all the sudden i hear what sounds like a rocket go off, and quicker that a skinned cat I jump off the roof and run to our tent, to get my flak jacket hehe. I run in yelling IDF IDF (indirect fire), and we're getting our flaks on, pistols strapped on,ready to go out the wire...... we meet back at the team hooch to get accountability for everyone. WELL, we soon learn that an MRAP hit an IED, and it thankfully was only a mobility kill, and no one was injured. I bet it scared the hell outta the Marines inside though. The crappy thing is that it happened on the road I drive down every day and I don't have the same armor an MRAP does. Man, the guys we're replacing didn't hear so much as a pin drop for the last 7 months, and in the last week there have been 2. The last one blew the whole independant rear wheel of a 7-ton- kinda the same way a Chevy's front suspension is- gone.... The flat bed was also pretty banged up. Well, it's springtime out here, and that's when all the chitheads come outto play. Game on!!!
I'm glad i can tell you guys about it, because I really can't tell my wife or family ya know...

Well glad to hear your ok danny! Be safe and keep your helmet on.... Im sure you know the news here only tells us the bad stuff so its hard to find out what specifically has happened. Try and check in as much as possible! God Speed
