My friends are too dumb to realize what a good vehicle is. They've never had to do a hard days work in their lives. I had one kid I'm friends with say "Why'd you get a Ford. American cars are junk. You should've bought a Toyota." My response being "Well maybe if you're buying a car. Fortunately for me I bought a TRUCK. Toyota doesn't even OFFER a diesel engine."
I'm working on getting one of my co-workers (dad's part-time employee) to join FTE. He's got a beautiful 01 or 02 V10 F350.
I'll work on him more on Monday. We're going to be doing fuel filter/oil change on dad's 6.0L on Monday and I have a write-up from the 6 leaker guys. Hopefully the guide is well-written so he'll want to know where I got it and come look around.
Dad's other employee drives a lowered Dodge Dakota or something. He doesn't like it very much, but he's got some stuff going on so that he can't afford to change vehicles.
And yes I break his nuts about his truck all the time. The one time I rode with him there was some ice stuck between the cab and bed. It was making some funny noises. He said that it was the ice. My response: "I thought that sound was what all Dodges make when they fall apart."

Thats exactly how I respond to people that say that too, but domestics are catching up pretty quick with cars too!
Its actually a really cool time for vehicles, there is lots of good quality from all sorts of companies now a days!

Great comback Pete!! I have to admit you are a great "kid". If there were more like you, (Jacob and Nick included) I wouldn't worry about the future as much. I see some of the kids around here and I really wonder...

One kid sits on his *** and bitches cause he has nothing to do cause he's too f-in lazy to do anything. OH **** speaking of lazy I need to get off of my *** an get started on my bumper.
Its good for you! Pictures don't compare to those Wicked Weasel thingies. Man I need more coverage...I'd need like 10 wicked weasels sewn together.
YOU run around the house nekkid...so any little bit of coverage would be a lot

I wondered if you were born when that came out...I was a junior in high school, but I was country when country wasnt cool...
Now I mostly listen to 80's rock...go figure!

Ok...Cardiologist still wasnt happy with my bp...so he upped the dosage...
Atenolol 50 mg to 100 mg...keep monitoring it...if it still dont go down below 140/90 he can up it again...go back in august for follow up echocardiogram.
He said my Aortic valve is only opening about 1/3 what it should...
it's at 1.5 sq centimeters, and should be between 4 and 5sq centimeters.
if I start having dizzy spells and or swelling of the legs I may have to have the valve replaced.
on a side note, my mom 's ahlziemers is getting worse and my father is having a lot of problems with her...I hate to say it but he may have to get her into a nursing home soon.
