17*??? Pansies... it's 11* here NOW and will get colder. Probably be about 5* when I take the pups out for their walk (and likely a *gimp-along* for me)
Tomorrow will only hit 20* and snow....
LOL. You should try Iowa sometime. I was SHOCKED...SHOCKED at how freakin cold it is here. It takes your breath away and most days you could freeze within minutes. Most of the time...its more than just cold..the air actually hurts against bare skin. After being out in it yesterday for a few hours..I was afraid I had frostbite on my toes, it took about 20 minutes inside to be able to feel them again...and I had 2 pairs of hunting socks and a pair of my good insulated hunting boots on. I think its 0 out right now...if the wind is blowing..I dunno probly -15 with wind chill.

Anyone ever heard the term "lunchin" As in "TJ's lunchin out over there" Or "Thats lunchin"
Never heard it used like that before. In my world, a luncehon is a planned lunch event where people go eat..lol.
Morning everyone! Nice cool -33C (-36F) temperature today, -45C (-42F) with the wind!
Who wants to trade??!!
Sheldon...you take the cake for living in the coldest place, between all of us. Most people can't even fathom how cold that is. I know I could not fathom it until I experienced it. It was -30 here and -55 with wind chill last week .

-30F is about -34C and -55F is about -48C so thats pretty much what we have here today!
I wonder how Cris would do in these kinda temp's? haha
I remember building a cattle shed out in the cold when it was even colder then it is today. It was around -50F, without the wind! I still have a little scar on my face from freezing a little bit from being outside that time.

Yep...frostbite burn. That sucks. Better than a bunch of cowsicles though I guess huh? That kind of cold is too much for me, I'm too much of a weenie to handle it. I'll admit it!
Last week was in the 60s here.... today the top temp will be ~14* - I have 1 fitting that I need to get to finish a mod. Was working on it Saturday but hit a dead-end with not having the right parts, and the store I needed was closed. I'll get the right piece today on lunch and maybe finish it up tomorrow. I really need a heated garage.
