17*??? Pansies... it's 11* here NOW and will get colder. Probably be about 5* when I take the pups out for their walk (and likely a *gimp-along* for me)

Tomorrow will only hit 20* and snow....

Goodnight bunny!
I know it Brendan, we are wimps when it gets cold. It rarely gets much under 25 this time of year so we just arent used to it... You taking any Aleve for the pain? or just toughing it out?

I was on the phone with a pharmacist buddy and it went like this:

Her: "just take some Alleve."
Me: "Don't have any."
Her: "What about Excedrin."
Me: "Don't have any."
Her: "How about Tylenol. You have some Tylenol right?"
Me: "Don't have any."

Finally I found some generic Ibuprofen. The soreness was bothersome but not enough to need meds. She told me the ibuprofen would help with the swelling though, so I took some. Here's the funny part though: I take meds so rarely that taking them tends to GIVE me a headache! So the swelling went down and my head started hurting!! Can't win for losing!

It seems the only time I really ever have any meds consistently in my house is when I have a girlfriend. Then I move and chuck that stuff out, and I'm guessing now that it'll be a good long time before I'm "stocked up" again.

Good morning everyone!
