IIRC, my box was sealed in plastic too. At any rate, that unsealed bag is a dead giveaway that something is amiss.

I sure hate that this is happening to you. Depending on what you have done, throwing the stock stuff back in will probably still work depending on your time line. Might call Trans Go and find out what the implications are.

I know it would suck to put it back together without the parts and need to drain refill again, but momma wants her truck.

I'm more pissed at the idiot that put the plug for the solenoid pack tucked up where you can't reach it. Maybe it's easier with a stock exhaust set up, but my wife's 4" exhaust and the heat shield that sits above it made getting that thing unplugged, then plugged back in the worst part of the whole job.

Sure makes my stock stick shift with 277k seem like a good choice.

Momma will be fine. She'll steal the kids Jeep if she needs to go somewhere. We'll leave it parked until I talk to the folks at TransGo. I put the pan back on as a dust sheild. It should still be empty when we get this sorted out.

That's what I'm talking about, not only the will to do it right, but the ability. Best wishes as you make up for some fool's error.

Joe, was your box delivered in a sealed condition?

I'm pretty sure I remember cutting the plastic off the box, Mike. I got mine in Aug of last year, so those memories are fading quickly. LOL

Don't sweat it Huck. If it is not NIB, send it back. Don't even start the install before a thorough inventory and reading of instructions.

No doubt Mike. BTW. I heard today that I may be working in Murfreesboro soon. How far is that from your neck of the woods?

Little over an hour away. I will be going back on patrol real soon though. Keep me up to date on your schedule. We will see. I still have to run up to Beech Bend in prep for the TS Outlaw event.

I will. I may have to check out Beans while I'm there.

Bum deal. I had issues with OPD once, I bought a filter and pan gasket from them and it took over a week before they even put it in the mail. I won't do business with them again.

I took it to mean a TransGo dealer Ray. Tracy did some digging for me yesterday, and discovered Oregon is not listed as a TransGo distributor on their website.

Well damn. Now I feel terrible for recommending them. I'm a little confused about what they had to say though, Chris. Email them back and tell them the part was missing from the kit THEY sold you. THEY need to make it right. I think they're telling you that it's a tranny part sold only by the Ford dealer, but it's a kit part, not an original tranny part. Fire that back at them and see what they say then.
