I think you're asking if anyone has swaped or installed a 5.0 V8 in place of a 2.8L V6?
It's done all the time. But people here tell me that it's easier to put a 4.0 in instead. Check CraigsList in Bellingham. There's a guy selling a BII with a 5.0 in it. I'm sure he'd lend a few tips.

i saw a 302 ready to go for sale in the paper a few weeks back, askin bout $250. should have grabbed it. only problem is my bronco is my daily driver and i cant have it down longer than a weekend.

I was only thinking of doing it because theres a wrecking yard by chilliwack (I live in BC) with a special on any engine in there yard $95 pull it yourself im tempted but its only till tomorrow
