HERE IT IS PICS OF THE BRONCO FORD SHOULD HAVE BUILT ! but instead 2 pollocks from ohio did it .
1989 bronco II 5.0 HO EFI , 435 4 speed NP 205 TRANSFER CASE Dana 35 front locked , 8.8 31 spline rear locked NO BODY LIFT and we have heat. we built it and beat it ya want a project here ya go
Nice job on an interesting project. Kind of like the 1st generation Broncos with the 302. Did you have to upgrade the front suspension for that ? I'd think it's a bit heavier up front now.
I have 2 Blazers, a 2000 which is the Mrs', and a 94 that's gotten really old and tired. I always thought they should have had an option for the 305. I've seen a couple of 350 conversions but I wouldn't want to try that.

Nice touch with using the 435/205 combo. L (1st) and 4L must make for a nice crawl speed. I don't know if I could ever bring myself to do a similar swap, unless I went full-width a la Dana 60s. I know I've not been on here as frequently as I used to be, but that's part of the price I pay having limited internet access these days
sorry i have been out ....anyways we had to fab mounts ...dunno if that would work we kinda worried about the power difference between the 2.9 and the 5.0 but ya never know at the worst ya can strap it down if they rip out but to save ya some cash ..we did not buy the engine swap mounts ...well we did but returned them ...they set the engine to far back and would have made us lift the body
