I've got an f2 thats been sitting on some land I bought 10 years ago and cant get title to because they have to search for previous owner first. There is a plate under the hood on the passenger side firewall with some numbers and this is all I can find. None of these numbers register with dmv. Any help on what I'm looking for? It appears to be either a 48 or 49. Has f2 on outside, so I know its an f2. Thanks to anyone who can help.

 

Post those numbers and someone on this site should be able to help you, but post them farther down the forum listing in the '48-'60 Ford Trucks forum where all the folks that are into those trucks hang out.
