O2 sensor

What does a O2 sensor read, the volume or the percentage of oxygen. dual exhaust with the O2 in one pipe and my performance dropped. Would an h-pipe help. and would running a single wide pipe with the O2 after the y-pipe help any.
gotta burn gas to make noise

O2 sensor

Whenever you have dual exhaust you need to have an H-pipe because it evens out the exhaust on both sides. The stock application has a small H-pipe with the o2 sensor in it. I would suggest an H-pipe close to the size of pipe that you used and weld in an o2 sensor bung and your off.

O2 sensor

By the way,

Say if you unplugged the o2 sensor, the computer doesn't get a reading and it will automatically richen the fuel mixture, causing the bad gas mileage. If you are only reading from 1 side of the engine, the o2 sensor probably doesn't have a proper reading, and that might be your problem, it's richening the mixture.
