Damn I could never do that..thats too cold for me to be riding.
Im with you on 60 being my limit too.
Keep in mind it is only about a 6 mile trip to work so that isn't too bad. I would need some kind of electric clothing to do a longer ride. Just wish I had the heated grips. I really need to look into that this winter so I am ready this spring.
On the flip side though, riding when it's 90-100 outside doesn't bother me one bit. Even racing in a full leather suit when it's 95+ wasn't that bothersome.

Those are niiice. My dad had those on his Grizzly ATV. Last time we went hunting he got all mad because I kept taking off on his quad...his has the heated grips. Very nice when its cold outside.

That isnt that bad, but I still dont think I could do it. Its 60 here right now and windy (20-30mph gusts) and even debating it... I think im going to get some gloves tomarrow too.

I dont have a problem in the heat as long as I have that 60mph breeze to cool me off. I cant wear a leather jacket in that heat though...
Jeremy, I've been fighting off a cold for awhile so I decided to take it easy today. I just finished reading all of your engine swap out. Your are the MAN. I am totalled humbled at my limited mechanical skills compare to what your doing. Good for you bro, good for you. I hope you get your weird speedometer 20mph thing worked out, kinda odd.

'No Daddy.
She's upstairs in the bedroom
with Uncle Paul.'
After a brief pause,
Daddy says, 'But honey,
you haven't got an Uncle Paul.'
'Oh yes I do, and he's upstairs in the room
with Mommy, right now.'
Brief Pause.
'Uh, okay then, this is what I want you to do.
Put the phone down on the table, run upstairs
and knock on the bedroom door
and shout to Mommy that Daddy's car
just pulled into the driveway.'
'Okay Daddy, just a minute.'
A few minutes later
the little girl comes back to the phone.
'I did it Daddy.'
'And what happened honey?'
'Well, Mommy got all scared, jumped out of bed
with no clothes on and ran around screaming.
Then she tripped over the rug, hit her head on the dresser and now she
isn't moving at all!'
'Oh my God!!!
What about your Uncle Paul?'
'He jumped out of the bed with no clothes on, too.
He was all scared and he jumped out of the back window and into the
swimming pool. But I guess he didn't know that you took out the water
last week to clean it. He hit the bottom of the pool
and I think he's dead.'
Hey Jeremy nice avatar. I think the only thing missing is a piece of wheat straw hangin outta the corner of your mouth...
Thanks Lisa...I think. Just an old pic from a float trip. What you can't see there is the beer in my hand...does that make up for the missing straw? That's about the only way I can manage to keep the back of my neck from getting completely fried on the water.

Thank you, I appreciate the compliments. I am humbled greatly by your ability with the nail and hammer though. You've done dome impressive work!
I think the speed/RPM issue is just about figured out. I pulled the codes from the ECM and it's looking for an auto trans that isn't there. I've now been told that flashing the ECM to a manual trans version will take care of it. I'm going to check with my diesel tech buddy at the Dodge dealer and see if that's something he can do. If not, Bob Wagner (Smarty dealer) can get the file for me, but I'd just have to wait for it. No big deal, because the truck is very drivable right now.
