I had to say that, I know where he works and how much Typar they have/sell there.
I drove by his work today on my way to the block plant.
The rock is cheap, the trucking bill to get it to where you need it is more than the rock is.
25 tons rock, 200 dollars
Delivery bill, 300 dollars
So 500 dollars gets you 25 tons to your door.

Hey Cheeto, my old pal!!!!! I thought of you the other day while driving down the road. I saw a newer SD jacked up about a foot, with 35's or bigger, goober lights all over it, big bumpers, neons, window tint, and ....... wait for it...... in fact sit down you are gonna love this one!!!! stainless steel laser cut flames attached to the underside of the rockers, so they were free standing off the body, between the rockers and the step bars!!!!!!! Man i about wet my pants when the term mallcrawler popped into my head, then i thought of you! Not implying anything just that you would get a kick out of it!!!! Later Cheeto, and bye the way you are still a ......... , well you know! hahaha! talk to ya brother! Dan

So im contemplating on a spring hanger design for the front. What do yall think? Itll be 1/4" Plate welded to the frame and 6 additional bolts on the outside and 4 on the inside. All grade 8. Thought bout curving it where the right angle is. Like just a curve from the bottom to the part goin back instead of makin it look L shaped. Any ideas?

Here's how Scott Freeman built his. He has an early 70s frame under his truck. His is completely bolt on.
I built a VERY similar one for my forest service Dodge, but I used 3" channel for my sideplates. My theory was that is resisted bending better than flat, and it also protects the bolt heads/threads.
