Yeah its defiantely kinda dreary out here today. I stayed up pretty late last night painting some stuff on my motorbike, so I slept in a little this morning and havent been outside yet, but it looks like a regular chilly spring day to me!
Good Sunday afternoon all, 10c 60% chance of shower's. Baseball practice at 3pm, Cleaning part's for the 56, hope to start removing the front sheet metal if it doesn't rain. Have a good day.
First two pictures kinda show everything. My Suzuki is sitting there and just needs new antifreeze and fresh fuel put in it, the Ktm just needs a little touching up for the paint on the silver/grey frame area, and the yamaha has the engine out right now on the bench. I am hoping to get the engine finished today, all i need to do is finish sanding/roughing up the engine, then I am shooting it with some engine paint. The ktm is just waiting for the primer to dry in a few areas, then Im debating scuffing up the rest of the frame, taping everything off, then shooting the frame (the visible area anyways haha) then throwing it back together.
This is the yamaha plastics and tank, sitting on our spare bed in the house, all fixed and painted and waiting to get put back on.
My wife sleeps where all good wives sleep, on the couch! haha.
We have 4 bedrooms in this place, 2 king beds, and a queen. Lots of beds to go around haha.
Kalan say's hahaha! very funnyWive's should sleep in the queen bed, but I think they should sleep in the kitchen, so breakfast would be ready when the men folk get up.
Its actually not that big Dean. Its only 28x32. Its the largest we could build due to some trees in our yard. Thats also why I built a 40x60 shop, then the garage can stay a garage, not a workshop. But that building isnt gonna be "shop" ready for a year or two yet.
Morris, Im not sure what extra maintenance your talking about?! With vinyl siding, and 30 year shingles, I dont anticipate much, if any maintenance at all! My shop is built of wood with tin walls, so I cant see much to do there either!
Unless of course ya mean sweeping, always a ton of that haha.
By extra maintenance I`m talking about some of my older buildings, not that there is alot but still occasional shingle repairs from the wind/hail, siding repairs, adding electrical plug ins, etc.
And of course endless sweeping.
How old are your buildings Morris? Ive been to your place enough times, but cant say I actually took a close look at the buildings. They seemed like they were in pretty good shape.
