I went and looked at it in person this morning, its in awesome shape. Same with the 47 mercury car, really really nice shape. They both arent perfect, but they are better then average, and Im guessing will bring quite a high dollar.

Good day all, 15c right now, sunny, little wind. Going to work on the 56 for a couple hrs till I have to take jr. to hockey. Yes I caved in for a spring tournament and baseball has started. I'm a sucker for the kid's sport's, but it keep's them off the street's, not that we have to worry about that where we live, but It's a short bike ride to the city.

No morris, i went there and checked everything out, saw that the merc truck and merc car were in good condition, took a couple of pictures for Ryan, then came home. I was pondering buying that 53 or that merc car. The half ton I was gonna try trade for a better 51-52, and the car I had a flathead that would have went in there. But after seeing how nice they are, that quickly put them out of the range I was wanting to spend on them!
Ive seen cars and trucks sometimes sell for next to nothing, but there was enough interest there, that they will bring in some bucks I think.
Plus I have a ton to do in the garage today, Ill never get caught up on projects if I keep buying projects haha

Another thing to check when your under there Morris is the upper rear shock brackets. I dont know if its a stereotypical problem on that era of trucks, but Ive had two trucks that they broke on, gonna order a set off of ebay pretty soon for my project 4x4 as well.
