Don`t tell that to my neighbour, his pumps can hardly keep the water away from his yard and house. His acreage is partly in a low area that was dry until 2 years ago, now it`s getting full and all of his nature bush and trees are dead from being flooded.

I would venture a guess that being in a low area makes it tough for your neighbour.

All in all though, around the city, and west of the city, its not that bad for being wet... YET! haha.

My whole yard drains to one "pond" type area in the very corner of my hard, and the rest is nice and high, Ill take as much rain as we can get right now.

If ya ask me, if ya build your house in a low area in a place where it rains lots sometimes, well then may ya enjoy the flooding

There is a large low area behind my neighbour`s yard and as hard is it is to believe it filled up from those abnormal rains we had in the last years. It hasn't gone down much since then.

If it actually gets up to plus 19 on saturday like they are saying its going to, Im going to get a chance to try out my new zero turn this weekend, and lemme tell ya, i am PUMPED about that!

At our farm we worked up the whole front yard and planted all new grass this year, so we had to get something to replace the beat up old 36 inch cut mower we had, so a month or so ago we went and bought a 60 inch zero turn.

Never thought i would be so pumped to cut grass haha.

Ain't it the truth, I was the same way when I bought my Deere John 3 years ago. I very much enjoy cutting the grass, takes me about 2 hrs and is so relaxing, can't hear the kid's fighting or wife nagging.

What kind of jd mower do you have Grant? I was looking at JD zero turns, and I was actually dissapointed in the quality of the "cheaper" zero turns, in relation to the competition that the local dealers had to offer.

That was huge for me, and hard to swllow since im a huge JD fan!

I know they make killer garden tractor type tractors, and I havent really heard a whole lot else about their zero turns.
