Here`s the type of trucks I usually see for the $1,000 price tag: 1994 Ford F-150 XLT Pickup Truck - Saskatchewan Cars For Sale - Kijiji Saskatchewan Canada.
I wanted a regular cab long box and they`re hard to find around here.

Looks like I've got a fairly good idea of what my 78/79 build is going to get done to it this summer... here's what I'm thinking...
1) Order Wiring Harness Kit (Painless, Ron Francis, Centech... someone will get an order from me)
2) Order transmission performance parts (few online shops I've looked at.. decently priced for a C6 at around $300 for everything... soft and hard stuff)
3) Order transmission rebuild video (for idiots like me)
4) Figure out my atrocious wiring (currently), and check out how I'm going to change things up to make it less "farmer" and "hack-job"-like. Sorry to you farmers out there, but that's where it came from... a farm...
5) Fix carburetor problems with idling and fuel system's inability to suck fuel.
6) Tear-down and rebuild transmission.
7) Sandblast and powder coat rims ($15/rim

8) Use the wiring harness kit to see what's all missing on my truck (likely lots), and purchase what I need to have everything properly rewired.
9) Purchase A/C dash (73-79), Airbox, hoses, and components to install in my truck later so I have some ice-cold A/C in my Lariat
