Sherm, thats a pretty tough phone - pretty basic but durable. I got one from the first shipment that Prairie Mobile got here in Stoon (around Feb some time) and its been good. I usually get a new one every year and this seems tough. The performance in the marginal coverage areas is as good or better than most.
I got one of those new Blackberry Storms a few weeks ago when they came out on the Sasktel network - have not used it much but I am looking forward to having a 'work' phone and number (that it seems too many people have the number but its unavoidable when doing business) and a private one that just friends have!

so far everyone that i've talked to say their a tough phone laredo. the only thing it doesn't have that i used occasionally is the camera, but i can't say that i'd use it enough to make it a selling feature. i really like the volume level adjustments, this sucker can shake your shoes with the ringer on loud.

not getting into those blackberry things... too "techie" for me

That ringer is awesome at maximum volme when a person is working in noisy environments. I too miss the camera - didnt use it as much the last few phones but at first it was cool >> it had some practical usage like , for example, taking pics of a broken item then sending it to a parts department. sometimes explaining on the phone doesnt work!!!

As for the Blackberry, I am going to be honest that I dont need one; however, I was going to go to two phones anyways. The Storm has a 3 megapixel camera so its better for pics. I hate carrying a camera (car shows, holidays, etc). This way, I carry one thing and one thing only!

Has anyone been getting rain thats amounted to anything? The Star Phoenix says this is the driest spring in 117 years!!! We got a quarter inch at the farm and a half inch on our south land. Some of the crops had a frost set back but none that warrant reseeding (yet!!).

We had a slow rain on and off from Saturday afternoon till yesterday, not sure how much we got(rain gauge broke last year)but I think it would be atleast an inch.

Ya, Sherm. I just shut the key off right away, then lifted the leg up. The fish finder is in so I'm looking forward to trying it out this weekend. Maybe I'll catch my first fish of the year. I heard they were biting on Pasqua.

Get your lawn mover tires flat proofed, that`s the best $12 a tire I ever spent, no more flats ever.....unless you cut the tire real bad.

Yeah I really should. I have been looking at getting a new, slightly larger JD for doing our yard work though, so Im not sure how much I wanna put into this thing.

Oddly enough the one that keeps going flat is the new one I put on last year. Now if I only had my compressor, or my dump truck air out here, I could fix the damn thing right!
