Good afternoon everyone, it`s 6°C so another spring like day.
What type of paint do you use for the white on the box Perry?
Hello Colin.
Hope your rims arrive today John.
Kilz for priming and sealing and then its Tremclad time, if I come across some free paint I'll paint the inside walls but they get beat up pretty fast so I don't waste $ buying paint for them
No top coat on the inside of the box unless someone is tossing out paint or theres a $5 quart of mistinted paint at RONA. I use the cheaper kilz for most of my at home projects but will buy the proper kilz for customers or if I need to seal a water stain. The tremclad seems to lock onto wood pretty good and I always have white and black Tremclad around so color matching and fading is no problem.

Only one arrived today, the other 4 should arrive tomorrow..
That sounds like an unique delivery service John
Just make sure that you get the grease off of the bobcat and the rust off the trailer and the Tremclad should work okay, Rustoleum is the same thing but the green, yellow and some of the other colors are a bit different Morris. Prices have gone up a bit this last year, about $7 a gallon here.
My neighbor Sigurd just jacknifed a Fedex truck 2 runs ago on his way to Vancouver, got about 10 hours off until they got another tractor to him.
Good looking rim and cap, going to get the rubber too. lol

No grease or oil on my trailer but the boards are starting to look a little rough. I`ve replaced a few of them already, likely have a few more. Most of them are in good shape, the worst ones are were the Bobcat wheels drive over.

One at a time....
If your wife wants them on the truck she`s a keeper.
Would be nice to see your truck all dressed up with the rubber on John
Some times it helps to put a little fine sand in your paint if your using it on flat verticle surfaces Morris, just make sure its really dry before you mix it with your paint. another use for old coffee cans and lids, lol
A good idea on putting in sand Perry, I hate slipping around when it`s wet or a bit of frost. I live on a sand hill, I`ll have to screen out all the ants.
