We're getting that piddly snow Fall and it's supposed to go on for most of the weekend. By Sunday we'll have had 4" but it will be 2" on the ground. All it does is make the front walk slippery for half of the day. Temp will be just below freezing most of the day and above for 3 hours. Would be better if it rained or if we got dumped on. Bought a small 10 pounder this year, good for stew and sandwiches, going to slow cook it. I did a pay it forward yesterday to make up for Sigurd not taking a 20 for helping me, brought me a lot of good luck today.
I don`t know what`s worse, getting icing sugar snow that I have to swept off my deck almost daily or just getting it in one shot to be done with it for a while. It`s already below freezing so be morning there will be lots of ice around.
By that 10 pounder do you mean turkey?
And Sigurd would be who?
That be a turkey, didn't feel like taking the Sawzall to a big assed frozen turkey and cutting it in half. Could be dangerous.
Sigurd is the neighbor I called yesterday when the fuel filter shut me down on the hwy. He had gotten back from Vancouver an hour earlier. Wouldn't take any gas money from me, so I paid for 2 food bank donation bags when I went to Giant Tiger. Sold a transmission and a efi intake from a 351. It's from a 89 f350 that I paid $450 for. Never advertised them, was a word of mouth deal from someone I don't remember dealing with. $50 deposit, get them ready tomorrow and collect 300 more.
Seems like most of the country is getting snowed on this weekend. American plot, weather manipulation to distract us from the political reality show down there, or they're jealous that we celebrate turkey day before them.
Good day to everyone.
Sigurd sounds like a good neighbor to have.
It`s cloudy here but no snow or rain yet.
Back at you Ian, have a good one.
Came across this 74 F350 that looks great but a bit pricey. 1974 Ford F350 | classic cars | Regina | Kijiji
I put in a special snow order for you Ian, it'll be dropped on you soon, wah ha ha ha ha.
That Gen 6 series truck was the end of the classic diy truck. Since then they've only have gotten more complicated to fix and harder to work on. The new ones rust faster and scratch up easier and are a lot more expensive to fix.
