Animals hunt by instinct, unfortunately there is no way of getting around it. I`m really glad my German Shepherd is a very gentle dog that would never harm any of my cats.

Mine go after bugs, moths, anyting in the neighbors flower gardens, pieces of paper and leaves that are being blown around by the wind. Some times they'll come in with small plastic candy, chip bags. Fearless hunters they are.

Tuesday evening I found this poor little orphan in one of my sheds, something must of happened to the mother cat. Unfortunately the other kitten was dead but this one is doing well on cat milk replacement and now he`s motoring all over the place. His weight is just over half a pound.

Good morning folks, how is everyone spending their long weekend? Boat time for us.
26°C with a chance of a shower, a bit cooler tomorrow.

Been a while since I've seen a wooden silo. I used to work at Behlen Wickes in Brandon, originally in order picking then onto a brake and punch press, that was only about 40 years ago. have assembled a few Roscoe's, can be real noisy for the guy holding the wrench on the inside and it only gets noisier as they get closer to being done.

My cats supervise me and make sure everything is up to their standards, they even allow me to take a break so as to rub and scratch them.

I have also been in the inside of a bin holding a wrench. Always way to hot to be in there and the noise has to be experienced to be appreciated.

After two years Domino has us fully trained. My wife is even starting to like him.

Morning boys. Nice to see you guys taking care of cats. I tolerate them if I have to but won't have one if I can help it.

Did a little fishing yesterday evening. Caught one...nice and relaxing. We scored a little boat package from a friend of my Inlaws. $500 for a 14' aluminum, trailer, and 5.5hp outboard. We upgraded the motor to a 9.9 merc 4-stroke that we found a sweet deal at Bass Pro in Calgary.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!! Nice to see you back around Gerry!!

Good day to all, we have sun and some clouds with a nice breeze so life is good.
I gave up with catching up on the stuff Perry, the list just keeps growing faster than I can keep up.
The boat thing didn`t happen Gerry, the previous owner that was coming out with me ran out of time so we`ll try for next Sunday. Probably for the better as I got a tooth ache and rain came a long by early afternoon. I`ll try for pictures, not often I remember.
Enjoy the car show John, hope the rain stays away.
When ever I have to paint my barn or other big out buildings I rent a commercial paint sprayer Colin, that saves a lot of time. Looks like my barn is due for another coat of paint soon.
Nice to see you back Sherm!
