Well got an inch of rain in 10 minutes this after noon. Not really what we needed, may have to go to the Riders game tomorrow as it will be to wet to do much at the farm.
We took a chance in heading out of town for a car and while it rained part of the way there and a little bit during the car show it wasn`t terrible. Things could be worse than a meal out and slightly wet car car show.
We`re supposed to get sunny and warmer weather starting tomorrow Perry, we`ll see what happens.
Sad to hear about trucking being in the toilet right now, is most of that due to the tough times in the oil patch Grant?
No thunder storms in our parts, there may in other parts of Sk John.

Your paint supplier`s shelves must be just about empty by now John....
Go ahead and rub it in Ian, I would.
I can`t post any pictures of the car show either but it did really happen Gerry.
Hopefully the Riders are going to win tomorrow Colin.
Today started out looking really crappy with a 60% chance of tstorms which is the standard forecast as of late, but turned into a pretty good day, was going to take it off but wound up doing all sorts of small catch ups.
It ended up being a slightly soggy day for an out of town car but not too bad, even an hr and a half road trip in the 2015 GT brings a smile to my face.

Actually a gallon goes quite far Morris and will be returning some unused cans on Monday..
Happy Saturday all. Morris & G: the freight we haul is not directly rated to the Oil Patch, but I do suspect the one's that were doing it, have cut into our little niche. We're getting by, and should weather the storm. If not I could always get back into the automotive industry. I'm too wrecked to pull a wrench, but could get back in some capacity. I have been thinking about just working from home on yard equipment. I've always enjoyed small engine/equipment repair, and it's much easier on the body. Have a great day guy's.
Good morning, the sun is actually out.
I don`t imagine paint is cheap John, it`s been years since I bought any.
A nice 53 M100 from yesterday`s Pa car show, 351 C.
Hope that storm doesn`t last too long Grant, working from home is nice too though.

Nice looking truck Morris, how come you didn't take yours to the show?
Finished blocking out my fenders today and will get the last of the primer sprayed tomorrow. Then the sanding begins lots of sanding..lol but then it goes in color..
Good afternoon and happy Saturday to all you flatlanders and trespassers ☺
Thanks Ian, we`re a pretty happy bunch with these beautiful blue skies and warm sun shine!

The sky was pretty dark and looking like heavy rain so it the GT was the vehicle of choice yesterday. Plus plodding along at only 50 mph is my idea of a good time, 140 kmh cruising speed makes the cruise a lot more enjoyable.
That is very true but since I`m an old fart I`m liking my many creature comforts, especially in the rain way too much. It`s like camping in a tent compared to a 5 stat hotel.
Our first trip to Thunder Bay in the panel we ran into very heavy rain on the way home and did have to slow down to the speed limit so the wipers could keep up..
