Good evening everyone, we had a thunder shower here this morning but cleared up this afternoon so hopefully the roads will be dry in the morning for traveling through the construction zone on our highway, 5 hour drive and show starts at 10..

Looks like our heat came your way Grant, it was only 16 C here today.
Rain in construction zones make me freak out John.

It makes things rather dirty Morris and there is always one "A" hole that has to maintain the speed limit before they started the construction, wish there were more cops patrolling these areas..

I hear you John.
Same when meeting a vehicle on a gravel road that doesn`t bother slow down, thankfully most people do.

I generally get lots of respect when traveling in the panel but there is always one jackass in the crowd..

Thankfully I don`t have to drive any of my oldies on gravel roads since I live beside pavement.

You guys are lucky you dont drive out here, gravel out of dump trucks, trailers and half tons are the least of the problem. These cowboys only know how to use ropes on cattle. Try getting used to dodging ladders, tools, beds, dressers, anything that can be put in the back of a truck and not tied down. There are debris warnings on the Deerfoot almost everyday and the year old Stoney trail is almost as bad..
Got my neighbors shed framed up, hasnt cost me a dime yet but I will have to buy Shingles and siding, damn. Maybe I'll borrow them. Lol

I drive a gravel truck.
Driving on the Deerfoot and the Stoney trail must be quite the experience.

Tandem Louis and a Bobcat, sure would come in handy

34 years as a dump truck, sure is a lot of fun to drive.

Got the garden in last night and it was still muddy. It seems that no matter what we do we can't get it in any earlier. The mosquitos where thick last night thankfully it cooled down quite a bit after supper.
That's a nice looking truck Perry.

Hahahahahahahaha too true Perry.
I curse the BC drivers for sucking at driving.
Then I drive in that area and suddenly BC drivers seem pretty good.
Heck they don't even have to deal with the steep mountain roads there either.

How are you all doing today men?

A cool and cloudy day with a few sprinkles, hopefully we get some rain over night.
My tandem and a Bobcat do come in very handy on the farm and rental property Perry, very likely they`ll have to pry them out of my cold hands some day.
I had a 75 F350 dually like that, it was an awesome truck and I wish I still had it.
Our gardens aren`t muddy Colin, maybe after tonight they will be. Sweet ride Colin.
Hope your day went well John, Grant and Ian.
