Morning boys. Washing a vehicle for us would last about 15 minutes down the highway until we hit our grid road then it was all in vain. I'm hoping for an early spring too, but concerned about the rumors of a hot/dry summer. Hopefully there's enough precipitation that crops can get a good start!! If I may plan the summer weather, I would like +18 to +20 all week long, a good shower on Wednesday evening every 2nd week, and a good downpour/T-storm on Sunday late afternoons. Also the temp would rise to +26 or +28 on the weekends to keep the beach goers happy. I'd also like it to rain $100 USD in bills on each one of us...
Well...hope everyone's Monday turns out to be a good one. Cheers!!
Morning boys... A little skiff of snow last night.
Thanks for the votes. Sometimes when I look at how our nation is currently led, I think "maybe I should become a politician". Well...lets not get into that.
Happy Tuesday mornin'all. Crazy around here lately. I haven't been lurking much. Getting another root canal today. Yay! I almost think it's better than sitting here at work. Raining here this morning. The snow is going fast. Have a great day guy's.
Good morning everyone, freezing rain here this morning, everything is a sheet of ice, if my fenders arrive in Dryden today it's going to have to wait until tomorrow for me to pick them up...
Freezing rain can make a real mess of things, John. Be careful driving and walking, I notice I don't bounce when I fall like when I was a little younger. Maybe I need a new set of shocks or something! We had a skiff of snow but no rain. Everyone have a good evening!
For next month or so here will more than enough politicial talk in Saskatchewan Sherm.
Speaking of root canals I spent a bit of time in the dentist`s chair yesterday as well Grant.
Did you finally get your fenders home John?
I don't seem to bounce back like I used to either Reg.
We`re not quite at the mud puddle stage yet Colin, likely after this warm weekend we will, a high of 10C on Sat.
Good afternoon on a very nice day to all that lurk here.
Any luck on your fenders John?
There`s still some snow here but not bad, spring seems to be on it`s way!
No fenders again today Morris thanks to the driver of the truck who sailed on by Dryden where he was supposed to drop them off, they arrived in Thunder Bay slightly off their mark by about 400 kms further east..
Howdy guy's. Morris, is that a recent picture? If so. I'm really jealous. To bad about the fender's John. That's a lame excuse for a missed delivery. Betcha the guy didn't know where Dryden was, probably his 1st week in Canada. I hear it all the time from customers that went for the cheaper rate. I always get calls saying; Grant, so & so can do it for this much. I say go ahead. A month later I'll get a call: Can you still do this for me? Usually by then we have found a new customer. Most of our business is long time, but may have left us at one point to get the better rate. The shipping rates in place from most of the vendors are menu priced. They shop around for a cheaper carrier to make more off the shipping. We often get calls from Fed Ex and Purolater to bring in expedited freight from one of their hubs. Sorry for the long post. Just venting. I'm really getting tired of the transportation business. Have a great night'all.
