Transmission was rebuilt but likely the original sensor .

 

I would switch out the sensor first, good luck

Way too chilly for a quad ride Sherm but no snow yet, even my dogs want to stay inside. I was outside for only a few minutes without head gear and now I have a dandy ear ache.

Morning fellas, yesterday was a chilly one, but today is a *****ty one.... There's an inch of fresh snow on the ground and its still coming down strong. Oh well, we know at this time of year it'll be gone in a day or two.

Off to Regina this am to pick up a cheap little Honda Civic. It has a noisy bearing in the manual transmission, I researched it and its an easy fix, so I'm going to fix it up and resell it I think. Hopefully this little bit of snow hasn't made the roads ugly.

Got a lucky deal on a quad for momma yesterday. Went to the Polaris dealer to browse, while talking to the salesman I mentioned that I would probably buy a new one from them, but wanted to wait to the end of the month, watching for a good used deal. Salesman says let me check with the manager/owner and see what's coming for April factory rebates. Two seconds later they call me into the office. Manager (I've known him for a number of years) says "how much do you want to spend?" I say "as little as I can to get as much as I can". Turns out the dealer group won a quad, pretty much exactly what I'm looking for except for the color, and they've been trying to make a decision what to do with it. So he offers it to me for about $1600 less than buying one off the floor. No tax, brand new 2015 570 Sportsman, still in the crate. The only issue, which is a non issue, is when the bike was won about 5 months ago, the factory warranty had to be registered so there's only about a month or less of factory warranty on it. However, for $1600 savings and no tax, I'll deal with no warranty
