Happy Tuesday mornin'all. A week after Jordan learned to ride a bike, his neighbor buddy's were Showing him how to skid the rear tire's. Good thing he had a helmet on. "Mom, Dad watch this!" He hit the frt brake lever instead of the back, and flipped over the handle bars. He wasn't hurt. I repositioned the lever to make it difficult to do that again. Have a great day guy's.
Evening everyone. Just got back from going through the Jury selection process! They didn't even call my number, woo! Got my taxes done finally. I'm getting enough money back, and got the green light, to finally order a lift kit for my truck!!
Funny story about motor cycles and how people think they are dangerous. A buddy of mine was driving his dad's straight piped Harley in Winnipeg back when he was going to Red River College. One day while he was riding home, he was right beside some car, with his window down, when the car started to pull into his lane. Now, I know its a motor cycle so they aren't the easiest to see but a straight piped Harley can be heard from a long ways off. Anyways so this ******* starts to pull into the lane my buddy on his motorcycle is in, but instead of hitting the brakes or trying to move, my buddy (wearing steel toed boots) kicks this car in the door. This guy in the car shoots my buddy a dirty look, and then my buddy yells at him "you can't f***ing see me??"
Loud pipes save lives Randy... I loved the character in the '05 Harley Road King I had, but I loved the speed and precision of the Hayabusa I had also... If plates were cheap I would be very tempted to get a Suzuki M109, which gives near the 0-180km/h rush of the Hayabusa, but with the comfort of a cruiser and near attitude of a HD.
Another beauty of a day here Boys... Keep 'em coming!!!
Heavy frost last night, but who cares? It's going to be another beautiful day of +5 and sunny.
Colin, my cousin in Red Deer had an M109. I rode with him to Kelowna when I had my Hayabusa. He is a great rider, and it was only on the straights that I could pull away from him. Those bikes are an amazing combination of performance and handling. I think the best part of the trip was leaving Kelowna, we dragged from a stop light. He had his wife on with him and had the front tire in the air as we took off. Very cool sight. A couple pictures of that trip below, along with one of me and momma on a trip to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota.
Have a great day out there guys!!!!
