was a decent day here...chilly in the wind but the sun kept our cheer up...
Newfie was sitting at home one evening, enjoying solitude and a few drinks... A knock comes on the door, its two policemen. Taking their hats off and placing them over their hearts, they hold up a picture of the Newfies wife and ask "Sir, do you recognize this to be your wife?"
"Yes b'y, das 'er", the Newfie replies.
"We're sorry to tell you she looks like she's been hit by a bus", the Officers say in a saddened tone.
"Yeah I knows", says the Newfie, "but she's a good cook, good lover, and a good mudder to my kids so I'll keep her anyway..."
Another dark and dreary day here, a touch of rain but not even a hint of snow........yet.

My helper is really hoping we can get the roof metal on before snow flies...I guess he's not fond of sliding down a roof or something...
Hope everyone has a great Monday. Make the most of it boys.
Sliding down a tin roof doesn't appeal to me either Sherm.

Whoa! This I don`t even want to think about but I'm sure that it`ll be here soon enough.
John, not much has been done since I plumbed the rear brakes. When I was done with the rear, I looked at the frt lines, and said yuk!. I redid the frt lines also. I have the motor and trans here at work, so I'll get that all cleaned up and painted this winter. Hope to make my seat frames, shorten my steering column, rebuild the heater assy and a few more small items. My plan is to get on it right in the spring. I didn't really start on it till mid summer this year. I don't plan on doing any coaching next year, so that should free up a bunch of time for me. How's your truck coming?
I haven't been able to do much the last little while , my shifts have changed again and now that the weather has turned dirty it's hard to work with the panel in the way. Thinking of parking it in the attached garage for awhile so I can get the cab in primer and hopefully sitting on the frame. There may be more changes coming at work which might give me a lot more time to work on it if they keep dinking me around.
250 has a $2400 claim from the breaking. MPI is replacing interior door panel, re-painting door, replacing passenger front seat covering, etc. As it stands, the 150 has a $1500 front end, $1400 drivers side front door claim from attempted break-in, 250 has $2400 claim, wife's Jeep has a $1200 front bumper claim from being backed into. All free repairs due to Winnipeg idiots and these will get done after another harsh winter.
