My week ended as it started. Took dogs out at 7am and noticed the passenger front door window on 250 smashed in. Truck was parked directly in front of house on the street. No other vehicle hit besides mine. The 150 attempted break in is a $1400 claim. Damn my luck and week has been awful. Teaches me for having nice looking expensive trucks in the North end.

No rain till tomorrow afternoon but it`s cold enough that it certainly feels like it could snow soon.

I still have lots to do before winter hits around here too but hopefully we get a few weeks of Indian Summer, so far it looks good for next week.

The mentality of society today makes me sick. A number of us bust our asses to acquire nice things, while the lazy useless wastes of flesh can walk around destroying all our hard work. To make the matter worse...even if the perp had been caught, our judicial system would perhaps slap the wrists and ask nicely that they don't do it again. There are some instances where I agree with the Middle Eastern ways. Someone is caught stealing? Cut off their hands. If these were times of depression and one had to steal and break the law to survive, I may have some forgiveness... It is not those times for now. Work is plentiful, and there is a great chance the one who broke your window is getting a healthy government subsidy and don't really need to work. This crap really makes me sick. I believe the statement made by one news group that if gun laws were more relaxed, the crime rate may lower...

This looks like what we went through last year around the end of October through Northern Ontario. 2+ days of this weather and 4x4...

We were in our car and happy the panel was parked in the garage but I may have to consider better tires for this car if I'm going to drive it in the winter.

We started to see snow flakes around Steinbach and got really bad through Whiteshell park area but cleared up east of Kenora.
