Jeez Randy...going to start calling you "Richie Rich" lol... Those Explorers are neat vehicles, I just wish they hadn't called it an Explorer. For me the Explorer should be a dedicated SUV on a truck chassis as its been in the past. They've turned it into a crossover. I know that's the current marked trend though, and Ford has to stick with it. I think its done well for them.
Happy Hump day everyone. Weather is beautiful, cruise night coming this weekend, along with a monster truck show and drags on Sunday.
Sherwin, I agree about them being to car like to be considered an "Explorer" but surprisingly it still has a hill decent mode, and multiple options for the traction control and stability control for going in mud/snow/sand ect. I don't think this Explorer will actually live up to its name because it is my girlfriends but it's will surve us well as a good travel/town vehicle. Now just to get use to it because the driving position is so different my truck.
Yeah I think so too Morris, my girlfriend had her heart set on Explorer because of the looks and size, I was set on an Explorer because it's a Ford, tons of fancy gadgets and it has a really high safety rating for when we need to start transporting children in the future.
Happy Hump Day Mornin'all. Haven't been on for over a week, had some personal issues to deal with. All is well. Looks like summer is finally here. I'm on holidays next week, lord knows I need it. Have a great day guy's.
A diesel is coming for 2018, only difference is Ford is building their own diesel rather than getting an already made diesel from another company.
So not like the 6.0 mistake Ford made? Still, a 150 is still only a half ton with haf ton limitations. Maybe I'll wait to buy another 150. Michelle is getting rid of her Jeep for a slighty used Stang. Been looking.
Up until the 2011 model Super Duty's the Diesel engines weren't made by Ford, they were made by Internaional/Navistar. The 6.7 Powerstroke was the first diesel Ford has built for their Super Duty's and it is actually had the least amount of warranty claims out of any diesel for has put in their Super Duty's including the 7.3 Powerstrokes. So if you're set on getting a diesel, I'd get one that was built by Ford.
