Has your property been hit with the flooding Morris?
No John, we haven`t had the big rains others in south east Sk and Manitoba have had. I'm on a sandy hill so I never have water worries except in very dry yrs.
Glad to hear that Morris, I sure do feel sorry for all those living in the low lying areas, hopefully the water will soon subside and give everyone a break.
Some of the farmers year has been wiped out and moisture is a big problem in the oil patch. A friend of mine has been waiting since spring break up to get back to work but it was way too wet even before all this rain came.
Morning all. Morris it was hazy here for a couple days now. TWN had an air quality warning out because of the smoke drifting. It warned against strenuous outdoor activity especially for those with respiratory illness'. Had a nice couple of dry days here, hoping it keeps up. I'll tolerate a few days of smoke and haze instead.
Good morning John, how are things in Ont? Anymore news on your 56?
Sunny here today and light wind.
Finally got word from Centerline that my rim is ready and being shipped out. Planning to take the panel to the dealership I deal with to get the front end alignment done so should be able to start racking up some miles on it.
The 56 pickup cab I started working on is coming along, started the last 2 patches on the roof today and should finish them tomorrow. Then I will be able to start filling the seams and plugging unwanted holes.
Happy Friday Everyone. Pretty tired this am, helped some city friends of ours lay their sod last night. 2 properties done in 3 hrs...ok for some amateurs I guess.
Hope everyone has a great weekend planned. We'll be spending it working around the acreage I suspect, not complaining, we quite enjoy it, that's why we bought it.

Are you driving your new truck yet Gerry?
We also laid sod but did it as professionals. Did you roll the sod? Next week apply a fall fertilizer to the sod which is meant for stronger roots.
Another nice week end and finally the street class drags didn`t get rained out.

Hello Morris, yes I started working on a 56 cab the last week of April, I have all the patch work done now and I'm in the process of filling all the unwanted holes and filling the seams. The doors I'll do over the winter months or sooner if possible. Hoping to get the epoxy and high build primer on it before winter.
