Evening FTE!!
Haven't been on for a bit, caught up on some posts tonight.
Sherm, sad on the lil girl and loss to the family. Hate hearing stuff like that!!
Randy, awesome on the lift and explorer!! Richie Rich lol
Praying for the flooded folks out there. Been a mess from what I understand. Ex sister-in-law has been razzing me to come help her new BF's crew and drive bobcat. Working the flood in St.Laurent and no one has had any time off. If I wasn't pulling 12-14hr days i'd be there to help out.
Gigger, cant' wait to see the Platinum!! Mumzie and I were out tonight checking out the new CRV's, Civic, and FORD Escapes. I can't believe how nice the new excapes are!! I think mumzie's picked the Civic Touring EX. Priced very well with every available option. The Excape Titanium is pricy at 40G or SE's around 30K. Civic is WELL below those prices with pretty much same options both models so I just cant argue with another Civic in the driveway.
Howdy to Trent, Morris, John, CLint, Grant, Steve and everyone else I may have missed!!
Trent, Grant, Randy (next time your around) we gotta meet up again for a coffee at Timie's!!

Hello Morris, yes I started working on a 56 cab the last week of April, I have all the patch work done now and I'm in the process of filling all the unwanted holes and filling the seams. The doors I'll do over the winter months or sooner if possible. Hoping to get the epoxy and high build primer on it before winter.
Oh wow, first class all the way since a Platinum is even nicer than a Lariat.
Good evening Curtis and everyone lurking here.

Nice Gerry...these lariats are so blah anyway...
Curtis, were you meaning the Honda CRV? I find it odd that you would compare the Escape with the Civic which is suv vs small car. My inlaws have a CRV. They really like it and its been a very good vehicle. Good fuel economy, fair amount of room. I had been looking at them also. The new ones even in base form come with reverse cameras and heated seats. That's pretty awesome.

Thats easy, Savage Ford would not take my super clean, no winters 2006 truck with a yrs ESP left on a trade, he actually said they didn't want a 6 liter on their lot....... and told me to sell it
so I said I'll sell it privately and I never told them any more, so they're sitting on it,
when we wrote the deal he told me 17,5 on trade so
I ordered a Platinum from another dealer, F them...........

Evening everyone. We just picked up my girlfriend a 2011 Ford Explorer Limited. It was the maroon coloured one from Carman Ford that I placed the ad up on here. Just seeing pictures we didn't like the colour but seeing it in person we actually like the colour. It's loaded to the max and I wish I had some of the fancy options in my truck lol. Over all we are both very happy with it. Thursday we are going to pick up some 17" rims and some 245/70r17 Goodyear Duratrac's and the whole dealership is talking about it because none of them have seen this done on an Explorer before .
Gerry, sorry to hear about your dealership being a jackass but at least now you have a platinum
