I'm not a drinker anymore, gave it up in 82. I know they have Budwiser here not sure of the Ice brand but sure it would be on ice.

Mowing my grass just makes my dandelions grow even faster.

I use PAR 3 with great success. A deep rich lawn starves out the weeds. Then I spot spray the weeds afterwards. Round Up is used for grass/weeds in areas I don't want growth.

I need to weed and seed my yard, it looks like crap lol. If it were up to me though I wouldn't have grass. So this morning I got a little surprise. I got home and went into the kitchen and saw something furry out our back door, thinking it was my dog I went to let him in and found out that it was one of my sister's dogs... So I went and woke up my girlfriend and asked if he was supposed to be here. She said no so I called my sister to wake her up and brought the dog home. Apparently she forgot him outside and went to bed, he escaped and some home managed to get into our yard looking for our dog.

Happy Hump Day mornin'all. Another nice day in the Peg. We had a Ball game last night and our dugout faced the sun. It was like an oven in there. I felt sick and had to watch the last 2 innings from my van. I use Par3 also and it hasn't affected my dog. I usually spray after supper when the wind is down. Have a great day guy's.

Another really nice day here too, it`s great ball weather.
I sprayed small patch of dandelions with chemical in a jug I attach to a garden hose since there was a chance of rain that didn`t happen. My yard is covered in yellow so I`ll spray the rest with the tow behind sprayer.

Mornin everyone!!

Been some great days weather wise!! Haven't managed to find time to spray my yard as of yet. Mixed a batch Saterday in the 100G sprayer but customer phoned and I had to zip out for a quote. Hoping later today. Only have a handfull of the yellow beauties in the entire yard but If I don't spray I know what fall will look like. I use "Tri-Kill", basically the same as Par3 but comes in 10L jugs at farmers Coop. Been very effective!!

Trent...... Is it too late to fertalize the lawn? I know spring n fall (may long, august long) are best times for spraying weeds but am totally ignorant on the fertalizing as i've never done that. With my gravely and the power vac I think i've "over cleaned" the yard taking away alot of the nutrients. SO, i've ordered a mulch kit for it and getting it put on up the road while they service the hydrostats. Give that a try this summer with adding an 1/2" to the height when cutting for a cut at 2 1/2".

JWC3.....hope your feeling better after the wipeout

Randy.....Next time your down I can give you some weed killer. No point buying a 10L jug and the crap they sell at C-tire/hardeware stores doesn't work all that well. Just buy a hand sprayer. 90ml to 10L with blast em good and get you easily 50' x 50' sprayed.

Morris.....How much lawn do you have to cut? Here at home I have approx 3 acres to maintain, rest is bush. For keeping weeds down and in control, and they were outa control here for years until I found the trikill. Took me one spring spray, which kills the fall crop, and a fall spray to get the yard under control. Since then I maintain the spring fall spray, lowering my mix ratio's to maintain control. You probably know most of this allready but thought i'd share my maintence schedule

Necks sore today. Painted ceiling yesterday in a home I'm reno'in. Primed about 800sq' then did all ceilings using 2 5g pails of paint. All rolled Rolled with my broom handle as I forgot my darn painting pole. Home is about 2500sq' and still living there. Every room needed floors covered and all furnashings. Thought that was pretty good at the end of the day !! !!

Hope you all have a great day!! I owe, I owe, It's off to work I go :P
