Wow

I think you might have seen me on the news if that would have happened to me. Hell I might have even made it on CNN. You have more self control than I do. I am all for helping out family but for her to do that to you, that is just wrong.

I am very easy-going, but I never forget anything, and I hold grudges. I did what I needed to do, I kept my promise...but it'll be the last favor she sees from me. I am all favored out, period.

Right around that same time, my older sister took a job in Denver and moved here from Grand Junction. She owned a house in Grand Junction at the time, and was living with other relatives here in Denver and hating life...so I told her she and her family could live with me until they sold their house. She has a husband, a 1-year-old daughter, and three very large dogs.

We didn't really have a verbal agreement on bills and such, since she is family (and since I had promised my dad I would take care of the family), I basically just told her to help me as she was able, as she just kept telling me about how they were on hard times.

Well she stayed for 7 months, didn't sell her house because they were dead set on selling it for a bunch of money so they could buy all new funiture and a new car with the equity. They completely took over my house, screaming child and dogs run amuck... and only rarely would she help me with bills. Here I am, 25-years-old, in my first house, just barely making the mortgage and the INSANE utility bills (because of constant laundry, constant dishes, constant showers) and they are out to dinner every night, telling me all about how poor they are. I think I lived on raisin bran and top ramen. lol.

There are a lot of small details, that would make anyone go . But, finally in April I told them they had to go. She told my other sister just a few months after they moved out and bought a house that in the time she lived with me, she had managed to save over $10,000.

You think your sister is bad.

I apologize if this is all too personal of info for all of you, but Chris asked, and I thought it fair to at least let you in on what Brendan and I were discussing. I've moved past it, and looking forward to better things...now back to lighthearted conversation and tasteless jokes.
WOW
I think you get more than an award for that chit your sister pulled. I woulda kicked her butt till her teeth fell out or untill she gave me some money back for her staying in my house and not paying any bills. She lied to you plain and simple, to your face , her own sister at that, thats just not right. She better be getting you some nice gifts come the holidays. I still cant believe that...If your ever in FL (well after the 16th since Im moving soon) or if Im ever over your way again Im going buy you a case of beer

Well I'd leave too if I could run around and chase some girls all day

Well heres my story then,

My parents own a few donut franchises( LOOK HERE ) and since Ive been working in a resturant since I was old enough to work legally, I basiclly ran one of them doing the day to day stuff and training the employees. But we found a guy to manage the one I was running so I could move to FL and open up a new one. My mom does most of the book keeping and paper work, my dad runs one of the other stores and does some of the behind the scenes stuff. We have 3 open as of now, 2 in MD, Columbia and Clovery, and one in Concord N.C. a family friend runs that one down there. (Mark and Barry might have heard of it or see it.) We are opening up one in Orlando/Kissimee FL and co-branding it with THIS . Now a I will be a part owner of this one in FL (it better do good or Im SOL lol) since school didnt really work out for me and I like what I do, Im going to give this a try

The two main things you learn in the resturant busness is everyones ahole and you learn to give people who wait on you more slack, but only if its a reasonable time cuz you tend to know how long things take (Ive done everything from washing dishes and bussing tables all the way up to managing a kitchen in smaller Italian resturant before I worked for my parents)

My goal in 7-10 years is to open my own real laid back pub with a few friends
