I feel like the belt design is very uncomfortable going thru the top of the seat like they did.
If your a big person it's much worse. It suck's you in as you drive.
In 2008 the belt hanger is moved up to the supercab door so now it's more like a reg cab or CC or a car. Much more comfortable and safer. But you have to Un-Hook the belt to open the rear door.
Interesting. When they had the belt on a bracket connected to the roof I didn't like it. Pre 2001 I think. It always seemed to want to cut my neck. I'm 6'6", so who knows. The best setup is probably an adjustable one mounted to some sort of "B" pillar like a car. I think the chevy trucks still have it in the seat but I think the opening rotates to adjust better.
One more vote for the CC. Not only room and ease of entry/exit for kids and adults but also much easier for my Chocolat Lab that likes to go when I'm running errands alone.
Also as a bonus, there's plenty of room behind the rear seat for a couple of subs.
What year did the CrewCab Short Bed get a 1 Piece rear drive shaft ?
I was told the only Superduty With a 1 piece is the 142"wb : s/c s/b.
in 2007 they are 2 piece for sure.
Thanks
From my research : No Year CrewCab has a 1 piece rear drive shaft !
So "Advantage SuperCab" on that one. (as posted earlier).

I was wrong. The CC does have a 2pc shaft(Got to check today) Its been a long time since I was under my dads CC. The support bearing is close to the middle of the two shafts.
If I had a choice it would have been a super cab. I have the crew now and it's ok. I don't need that much extra room as it's normaly just the wife and I and our gear.
I like the looks of the super cab better - it also has the extra leg room I need, which is the #1 factor I traded my reg cab 250.
At the time I was searching for trucks, it was difficult finding one that didn't have a billion miles on it or was already abused - I finally found the one I'm in now and jumped on it. Since the fuel has reached its current price, the truck I wanted sits on every dealer's lot in town and they're all over the place.
`I have 4 kids and me and my wife are 6' + I have a 00 CC 4x4 long bed and would not trade it. I looked for 2 years to find one I could afford and wasn't ragged out. My only hang up is now that I got it ...... I can't afford to drive it much. I have a company car so we use it as much as poss. only use the truck when we have to haul or pull something. It will get its work out come hunting season.
