I have the 350 supercab and I have no problems hauling my two kids in their car seats. It is a little tight but it works for me. I've had two of my buddies back there and no one complained. I am 5'7" so you tall guys might run into some problems. If you have the extra money go for the supercrew. As far as gears, I wish I had the 4:10's. Had them on my other truck and loved them. Didn't notice any real MPG difference and it pulled much better.

What's up with this? I'm pretty happy with my seat belts. They are integrated into the seat. I don't understand what you mean by moving the clip to the door? I haven't seen one yet to know.
I feel like the belt design is very uncomfortable going thru the top of the seat like they did.
If your a big person it's much worse. It suck's you in as you drive.
In 2008 the belt hanger is moved up to the supercab door so now it's more like a reg cab or CC or a car. Much more comfortable and safer. But you have to Un-Hook the belt to open the rear door.

If you are even thinking of putting a person (or people) in the back seat, get the crew cab. You shouldn't even look any further. I don't even have any kids anymore (occassionally they visit and even the grandkids with the car seats), and I wouldn't give up those two extra full doors for anything.
No idea about the 99 model ? .
I have checked 2005-2007 they are (old style) ,The seat and door design changed for the 2008 model to a much better design
I have a supercab and my gripe is that the only head rest in the 08 250 or any other sc 250 is that there is no head rest for the back seat except a window (ouch)....even the F150 has a head rest for people in the back of a sc.
99 Supercab belt is attached to the roof where the front a rear doors come together. Adjustment for height is on the part that hangs down. I have 4 kids (ages now 13, 11, 10, and 6) and we can all cram in there if needed , but it is tight. Would not want to take a long trip any more. MY 2005 X handles that duty.
I sometimes kick myself for not going to a crew cab, but just did not want that extra length. My "make a wish" truck would be a F250 crew cab with a shorty bed (like the F150 Supercrew) I don't have to haul that much long stuff in my bed. Total length about the same as a Supercab but trading cab space for bed space.
I have had both. If your going to be carrying passengers at all in the back, don't even think about spending money on a super cab. I hated always having to move my seat up because of someone sitting behind me. Went to the crew cab, and I don't have that problem anymore.
