the 03+ ones do, and it has some sorta metal tray that folds out.
When I bought my 02, I went round and round trying to decide on crew vs super. My buddy has a super, I rode around in it for a bit, and my mind was made up. Crewcab it is
In 2003 I sold the 1995 F150 super cab for a 2001 Super Crew because my twins were hitting middle school and out grew the back seat. Plus, there were not the extra short doors. They'v graduated now and I just sold the 2001 for a 2005 F250 super cab. (confused yet?) Anyway, you want 4 big doors!
Good news, push those dealers down. Trucks are just sitting on lots. I got the '05 F250 for WAY under book price. Be patient. Bargans will show up. Start your watch list on ebay and auto trader. Pay 15 bucks at Galves: Better than Kelly Blue Book for used car values! and you'll find the true market value to use when negotiating at the dealer.
the long beds have a 2pc driveshaft, the SB have a 1pc.IMO I'd go for a CC, there is tons of room in the back of a CC for three 6'+ adults and it will be like a playground for the kids back there.
What year did the CrewCab Short Bed get a 1 Piece rear drive shaft ?
I was told the only Superduty With a 1 piece is the 142"wb : s/c s/b.
in 2007 they are 2 piece for sure.
Thanks

Looks like the previous posters have this covered very well, but I'll throw in another vote for the crew. I testdrove a supercab and put my not quite two year old daughter & her carseat in the back. She was already kicking the center console. So, crew cab it was....
Mine is an '04 and the bottom part of the rear seats fold up, then you can unfold a metal tray on the floor.
Good luck with your purchase.
Edit.... ^ my '04 has a two piece rear driveshaft.
I'd vote crew just for comfort for the people in the back but imo a cc lb is way to long for me. we have a cc sb and a sc lb and they are about even in length and i can drive 6 people around. im happy with my supercab because i can toss anything back there and its working out great with crutches and passengers.
We have the SC long box. There are usually only two of us, and we wanted the long box but the shorter wheel base for 5er towing. Yes, it makes a big difference when towing. On the other hand, my daughter & husband with two kids were coming home from N. Carolina with their 5er when their truck quit just south of Richmond on I 95. Loaded them all in the SC (two car seats & 1 adult in rear), and fetched them home, approx 150 miles. Probably not the most luxurious ride, but do-able.
So, 2 people, esp. towing, SC. Lots of riders, CC. Trade offs. Choices.
They fixed the problem in 2008 by moving the belt clip from the seat to the door.
What's up with this? I'm pretty happy with my seat belts. They are integrated into the seat. I don't understand what you mean by moving the clip to the door? I haven't seen one yet to know.
I had a 03 supercab and when we were having our 3rd kid I got a crew cab. I have 3 kids in car seats and the crew is the only way to go. At first, the supercab worked out great, but as the kids get bigger (and their legs get longer!), it becomes a problem while they are still in car seats because many car seats take up a lot of room front to back. In the supercab I had to pull my seat up so my older boy had room for his legs and feet (I use big Britex car seats that are deep front to back). But in the 07 crew, not only do they all fit comfortably, but there is enough room for me to climb in and buckle the middle one in.
