Are you going with the F5 gauge pod switch?

Nick I didn't see a gauge for trans temp in your sig. Living dangerously?

By the way congrats, your Dad will love it.
I am getting a trans gauge soon. I am going with the F5 Remote switch

NICK - SAVE YOUR DAD 45 DOLLA AND DITCH THAT 100 HP TUNE. If you still want to spend your dad's money get a smaller tow tune.
BTW You should have got a JWVB if you wanted to spend all that extra money
I would have but I don't have enough money in my account to get a Vb yet

I'm going to get all the tunes changed over to tow shifting patterns, i prefer to be slower with 60t and have a nicer shifting transmission. I never use 40t, and never use 120 race. I always run around in 60t, however if the 80 had the same tranny shifting strategies i would use it. The 120 has less SOTP power than the 80 on my truck, and dyno proven. Less ICP and just less power. The 140 use it only for making smoke.
Well you do know what your talking about but on the 80 Economy I want the max Mpg improvement will the shifting lower the Mpg

I've found I use all my tow tunes when crossing the Rockies.

Seeing as I'm moving to Colorado, I am always towing a trailer there from So. Calif. When climbing the higher Mt. passes, I have to drop all the way down to 20 tow, to keep my EGTs below 1200*.

140 smoke is a must. I cruise in 80E... but I haven't seen any improvement in MPG... but I'm also on the throttle a lot more. I also have 60T which I don't need all that often, but does come in handy.

I use 120R for racing... instead of 140 because it wastes less fuel, I would think. The smoke on 80E is nothing compared to 140.... nothing.

I would loose one of the 80 tunes, and get the 40t, I love my 140 smoke. Just for the smoke, and it pulls good also.

Heck Nick, just GET ALL 16 TUNES.

Nick, i talked to jody about the stock fueling tip in per kris' recommendation when i got mine. Basically i asked the same question, will the "hybrid" tune like Kris has instead of the 80E affect fuel mileage any. Jody's response was that he was not certain for sure but it would be a very minimal, if any, decrease. But you can talk to Jody to be sure.

Ditto. I don't have a valve body yet, and the 80"e" is my run around tune, but you can't beat that 140 for smoke. 80 puts out some, but nothing compared to 120 and 140. I would never get rid of the 140.

When I am plowing, which has been a grand total of only 11.5 hours all winter so far , Or when I am hauling the horses I use 60T, and it works great. If these new decel tunes turn out to work well, I will be looking to get those just for fun. I like the idea of an exhaust break, I love the sound.
