WALJON did you have it set up like in joes diagram or was it
A. stait connection or resistor
OR
B. strait conection with resistor or resistor? (joes diagram)
because if it was A and the there would be a "lapse in current flow"
if you did it like in joes diagram or like in mine, there would be no "lapse in current flow" so maybe the light wont go off. idk just a thought, but when wiring resistors in parrall i believe there is an equation to figure out the total reistance, but some one can look that up. reciprical of the resistances added together = reciprical of total R?

Reason: pic missing
here is what i am going to wire up on mine. since the trucks are harder to start with the increased demand for high pressure oil when the ambient temp is in the teens i am going to wire mine this way, it will allow the mod to be turned on and off as needed.

I see what you are saying and it totaly makes sence now just from your drawing
I was using a 10k pot and I liked it , seemed better than just a resister I had it wired in line like coons
Sorry, this is my 1st PSD, so I gotta ask... what does a 10k resistor in the ICP wire do? Does it make a difference in performance or mileage or something?
i put a 22k resistor in mine and it is unreal faster ,before i had to push the gas about 3/4 just to take off decent, now i barely touch the gas pedal and i take off like a bat out of hell compared to before

Have you checked your fuel pressure? Maybe you need to shim the FPR.

Oh Oh coon there is another successful 22k mod! bet that's makin you crazy LOL
so ive been goofn around, and even on my 03, the 22K really woke it up on the bottom end, and the idle is still smooth.
the 10 K had a slightly lopie idle, and gave me a dead spot down low,
the 5 K however makes a wicked drag car lope, like a huge azz cam. but has zero driveabililty, huge dead spot down low, but once you get going and let off, it will kill itself the lope is so hard and slow.
