nice arrow joe lol
im doing this mod today, hopefully in a slightly more advanced form... a selection switch in the cab to adjust the level of resistance... will take many pics!
alright i did the 10k mod today took me about 5 min and i dont want to stop driving it now i even get a little puff of black smoke THANKS TO EVERYBODY THAT HELPED ME OUT YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST AND SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!
hey chaos, you like that arrow? thats some hig tech work right there! and good luck with the switch plan, i drew it up but never tried because of the small difference in power between the sizes. if i were to do it i would have a single position switch, off breaking the circuit allowing the reference signal to go through the icp uninterupted, and on forcing the voltage through the resistor.

I could tell just by looking at it that your level of precision was simply unmatchable. because of this, if i post pics of my version of this mod, i will just be holding a paper arrow lol
By the sounds of it, some trucks run better on different setups? im building the breadboard right now, and i guess i make things way too complicated, but i put 4 different levels... stock, 10k ohm, 15K ohm and 20k... we'll see how it works out.
well, i finished the switching board, it's about 10 bucks of crap from radio shack... still working on how to route it into the cab... have pics of what i've done so far,
but so far im also too lazy to put them on my computer...
with time, however, it will happen
