10K or 14.7K ??

Morning, can I get some feedback on going 10K or 14.7K? I have all the parts listed in this thread. Thanks fellas!

When I messed around with this mod I used a potentiometer and measured the resistance with a volt meter. Put marks around the potentiometer to mark the different levels of resistance.

14.7 worked best on mine , but each truck reacts differently to this mod. Just save your pennies and buy a chip is my advice.
