about 3 years ago I had a drinking problem which caused a lot of problems for me my family and friends. I never stopped drinking but now Ive learned to control it rather than it controling me. I usually only drink a fifth a week now and usually only beer on the weekends. I used to spend anywhere between $175 and $200 a week on liquor and beer. I met a great woman and everything changed.
I know it sounds kinda sappy but its true.

Drinking over a half gallon a week end was killing my wallet(even though I buy the cheap stuff), now I treat my self to Wild Turkey 101 more often.

I don't like getting drunk off of beer..... Takes to much, and if I don't **** at LEAST once per beer my stomach hurts, and I have to stop drinking beer, and then I can't drink whiskey to get drunk, b/c I'll have a *****y hang over.

I dont feel I need congrats. I love to drink as much as the next guy but it started getting out of hand.
like you said MBB. I was drinking a lot of cheap liquor ever day but now I drink good liquor and 2 or 3 drinks a night. Sometimes you guys got me going and 2-3 ended up being 6-7 but thats ok.
At the end of what I call my "drinking problem" I drank 3 half gallons of Canadian Mist and 5 cases of beer a week. Now I drink a fifth of Crown SR and a 18pk a week. Some might call that a problem but I see it as normal drinking. It doesnt effect my family my work or my budget so Im good with it.

ive only killed a entire bottle of crown by myself once..... i was already a bit tipsy off beer then my g/f just kept feeding the crown on teh rocks.......ummmmmmmm....soooo good......withen the hour i was withen a 1/2-3/4" from the bottom and i dont remember much from there.....apparently i was puking black......
