sounds like youve had a productive weekend paul. wish i could say the same. thought i had a truck lined up but the guy sold it on me. was supose to go look at it today.
Yeah, for sure. I could've rolled it into the garage, but theres not much else to do that doesn't require the bobcat and it being outside. What kind of truck you looking for?
Anyone notice how Petersons and Fourwheeler seem to bring the suck more and more each month?
In your opinion are there any GOOD 4wd magazines? I consider myself more of a picture man than a reader.
Last month I bought 4x4 Garage magazine from Walmart. Pretty good IMHO. I dont think its a stand alone magazine. It had articles from both Petersons and Fourwheeler but it seemed to critique their write up by showing what the bigger Mags didnt. Also gave a full write up of all of the major wheeling breakages as well as a step by step how to on shaving a 9" and rebuilding a NP205. Great magazine but very hard to find and no annoying coupons for that magazine just Petersons and Fourwheeler.
Nick,
Tell me about 47spline Rock shafts! How big are those GD things?
I like TTC in four wheeler. Other than TTC, FW is kinda losing ground in my opinion. Petersons seems to have more legitimate tech articles than FW. More real world wheelers for feature trucks than shiny trucks that they take pics of on piles of dirt(Four Wheeler).
i think its a pretty good mag kris. only read it a couple times but it isnt filled with all the bling that most others seem to be. more of a real world mag. i have that most 4x4 magazines only seem to focus on jeeps and rock crawling. or theres the truckin magazine which is mall crawler central if you ask me.
paul, im lookin for a extended cab ranger, 90s model, short bed. dont really matter if its 2 or 4 wheel drive or what engine it has. just somethin cheap.
